King Louie and The Dolphins were formed in July of 2000, to play the Tweed/Gold Coast music scene. The group soon realised their appeal was more universal, as commercial interest in the band has come from further afield. The music is best described as 70's rock.

Since inception, the group has worked towards applying strong frontline and harmony vocals to recognisable pub-rock dance tunes. This has proved to be a winning formula which has produced many repeat bookings.

Band members are King Louie - vocals & rhythm guitar, Clyde Cahill - drums, James Byrne - bass guitar and vocals, Mick Bohan - vocals and lead guitar, and occasional guest vocalists.

King Louie and The Dolphins deliver a mix of classic and current standards, through to some very catchy original tunes, which feature on their CD releases. Samples of which can be heard on the CD's page. CD's are available for $25 posted.
